Să fondez propria companie este foarte antrenant. Dar, până acum, cel mai frumos este să văd oamenii pe care i-am instruit că fac paşi înspre a-şi începe propriile proiecte.
Ce părere ai despre competiţiile de barista? Crezi că sunt folositoare industriei?
Toată lumea ar trebui să concureze. Intrarea în competiţii te face să devii mai bun şi este o modalitate minunată să înveţi şi să cunoşti lume. Dacă toată lumea ar concura în această industrie, aceasta ar evolua.

April este prăjitoria mea de cafea. Ţelul meu este să progresăm în acelaşi pas cu industria prăjirii cafelei. Standardul este unul foarte ridicat şi este timpul să facem orice efort ca progresul să aibă loc.
Încep cu paşi mici şi colaborez cu Loring Showroom I need Copenhagen, The Factory RoastLab. Sunt foarte bucuros că ei îmi permit să închiriez timp pentru a exersa pe maşina lor Falcon de 15 kg.
Tell us about the best coffee experience you’ve had with coffee until now.
Starting my own company is really exciting. But so far the most exciting thing is seeing people that I have trained moving on to start their own projects.
What do you think about barista competitions? Do you think that they are useful for the industry?
Everyone should compete. Competing makes you better and is a great way to learn and create network. If everyone competed in the industry, this would be a better industry.
Tell us about the April Coffee Copenhagen project.
April is my coffee roastery. The ambition is to progress the way that we as an industry roast coffee. The bar is set high and now it’s time to put the hours in to make it happen.
I start small, working together with the Loring Showroom I need Copenhagen, The Factory RoastLab. I am very happy that they are allowing me to rent time on their Falcon 15kg machine.
