The Lid with the hole
The secret was in the lid! The lid is a fundamental element as it gives coffee makers total control over pouring. That makes it perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy brewing. It provides consistency in coffee blooming. When hot water comes in contact with the coffee grounds, gas is released. With the lid, steam that is produced is trapped along with the gas resulting in higher kinesis, heat and energy retention. As a result, we can obtain a better fusion without the coffee maker swinging the kettle.

I have noticed that most people are hitting the walls with water while they are brewing. As there is space between the porcelain and the filter, the water manages to escape without dragging solids and coffee elements towards the bottom part. As a result, the final brew has a weak body and diminished flavour. So, I had to find a way to make people pour towards the center and this is when I thought about the hole in the lid. All you have to do now, is brew at the center enabling the water to come straight in contact with the coffee grounds getting the most out of it.

The hole also works as a protection layer enabling a stable water flow, and minimizing the risk of turbulence.

The different ribs
I knew that I had to take care of the inner part too, and be able to offer something innovative that could change the brewing game. I started experimenting with ribs, asking myself how we can affect water flow.
Maybe we can’t but ribs can do it for us! So I came up with the idea of two different sets of ribs.
It is the only dripper with both horizontal and vertical ribs that can maximize a great result. Let me tell you why!
The 12 horizontal ribs are placed in the middle of the dripper to guide the coffee to drop at a steady pace, that can carry away all the coffee characteristics smoothly.
