Cerul gurii percepe mult mai bine dimineața senzaţia dată de o cafea bună… Cum sunt şi prăjitor şi preparator de cafea, mă bucur mult de cafeaua mea de dimineaţă, desigur, la sediul meu. Aici există un espressor şi diferite tipuri de instrumente pentru prepararea cafelei. Este un moment foarte liniştit cel când mă trezesc cu gura curată şi gust cafeaua prăjită de mine. Pentru mine, degustarea este şi muncă şi bucurie, cu aroma ei minunată şi profilul corect de brewing, îmi face începutul zilei mai frumos. În clipa în care mă trezesc, mă asigur că voi începe ziua cu cea mai bună cafea…
Cea mai frumoasă experienţă cu aromă de cafea pe care ai avut-o până acum?
Când l-am întâlnit la micuţa cafenea din Florenţa, Caffe Piansa, pe primul meu mentor în cafea, un domn italian, drăguţ şi mai vârstă, numit Pietro, prăjitorul care munceşte în lumea cafelei de când avea 14 ani. Am fost atât de norocoasă să am şansa de a fi antrenată în roasting de el.

the best coffee ever?
Morning palate perceives a good sensory from a good coffee… Since I am a roaster and brewer, I enjoy very much my morning brew, of course, in my quarters. There are an espresso machine and different type of brewer tools in my quarters. It’s a very peaceful moment when I wake up with a clean palate and taste coffee from my own roasting. For me, cupping is a work and joy, with its beautiful aroma and correct brewing profile, it makes me have a good day’s start.

The best coffee experience you’ve had with coffee until now?
It was at this small coffee shop in Florence, Caffe Piansa, that I met my first coffee mentor, a sweet older Italian gentleman named Pietro, the roaster who had been working in the coffee world since he was 14 years old. I was so fortunate to have the chance of being trained in roasting by him.
